This is Gnuplot version 4.4.2 binary
distribution for OS/2. Gnuplot is a portable
command-line driven graphing utility for linux,
OS/2, MS Windows, OSX, VMS, and many other
platforms. The source code is copyrighted but
freely distributed (i.e., you don't have to pay
for it). It was originally created to allow
scientists and students to visualize
mathematical functions and data interactively,
but has grown to support many non-interactive
uses such as web scripting. It is also used as a
plotting engine by third-party applications like
Octave. Gnuplot has been supported and under
active development since 1986. |

gs902os2.zip GNU Ghostscript v9.02 for OS/2 &
eComStation. Requires a copy of libc063.dll.
Ghostscript can read a PostScript or PDF file
and display the results on the screen or convert
them into a form you can print on a
non-PostScript printer. Ghostscript is an
interpreter for the PostScript (TM) language. A
PostScript interpreter usually takes as input a
set of graphics commands. The output is usually
a page bitmap which is then sent to an output
device such as a printer or display. PostScript
is embedded in many printers. Ghostscript has
several main uses: 1. Display a PostScript file
(avoid killing trees). 2. Display a PostScript
file to decide if you really need to print it
(reduce the number of trees killed). 3. Print a
PostScript file to a non-PostScript printer
(kill more trees). Necessary device support for
CUPS is included. Ported by Paul Smedley. WarpIN

LyX v1.6.7 compiled for OS/2 & eCS. LyX is the
first WYSIWYM document processor. Ehhh... please
explain. LyX is a document processor that
encourages an approach to writing based on the
structure of your documents, not their
appearance. It is released under a Free Software
/ Open Source license. LyX is for people that
write and want their writing to look great,
right out of the box. No more endless tinkering
with formatting details, 'finger painting' font
attributes or futzing around with page
boundaries. You just write. In the background,
Prof. Knuth's legendary TeX typesetting engine
makes you look good. Requires a copy of
libc063.dll, gcc434.dll and Qt4 dll's. Updated
to QT4 v4.6.2 GA build. Ported by Paul Smedley. |

intended for numerical computations. It provides
a convenient command line interface for solving
linear and nonlinear problems numerically, and
for performing other numerical experiments using
a language that is mostly compatible with
Matlab. It may also be used as a batch-oriented
language. |

similarly find use for this program in the
maintenance of their own collections or to use
as a browser for quote libraries. Compiled OS/2

GNU sed version 4.2.1. Copyright (C) 2009 Free
Software Foundation, Inc. This is free software;
see the source for copying conditions. Sed
(streams editor) isn't really a true text editor
or text processor. Instead, it is used to filter
text, i.e., it takes text input and performs
some operation (or set of operations) on it and
outputs the modified text. Sed is typically used
for extracting part of a file using pattern
matching or substituting multiple occurrences of
a string within a file. |
